Position Overview

Position Overview
The Business Analyst connects our commercial strategy to market. You will partner closely with the Data team to turn data into timely decisions. Responsibilities span the documentation and analysis of business processes and technical requirements, building datasets and models, developing reporting, and making actionable recommendations to the business.
Partnership with business
- Evaluate, anticipate requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions end-to-end.
- Develop KPIs with subject-matter experts to measure portfolio performance (e.g., forecast accuracy, hedge coverage, commodity cost variance, unit margins, risk limits utilization).
- Lead recurring reviews of workflows and develop optimization strategies across the department.
- Document and communicate findings, assumptions, and recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels.
Reporting, analysis & integration
- Produce and maintain load forecasts and scenario analyses; quantify weather, seasonality, and portfolio mix impacts.
- Support strategies and decisions; and policy limits.
- Monitor market fundamentals and operational drivers; flag risks and opportunities promptly.
- Own department-side reporting for portfolio performance, (eg. positions, forecast accuracy, cost-to-serve, and margin).
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience, five years or more preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mathematics, related fields or equivalent practical experience. Master’s degree in business, Computer Science, or relatefideld is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, advanced knowledge of reporting processes and systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in individual and group settings.
- Ability to execute and close on multiple ongoing projects within a given timeframe, without close supervision.
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory
- Work Location: Paulista Avenue – São Paulo/SP
- Work Model: 100% On-site
