Position: Senior Trader Ore and Alloys
 

Must be atleast 10 years experienced in the ore /Ferro Alloy business, have a very sound knowledge of the mining industry and good connections. He will be responsible for souring and selling various ores like copper/ gold/silver/cassetrite/ tantalite etc along with the existing team.

Must have in-depth knowledge of this industry in brazil and south america. Preferred candidates from global leading trading houses based in south america who is currently doing the trading independently.

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Scnior Trader to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for Procuring various ores from differnt miners, from various locations (In South America), ensuring ethical business practices.

 

Responsibilities:

Must have in-depth knowledge from end to end , procurement till the cargo reaches the end user including logistics, quality, legality etc.

Assist in Trading Books management, tracking Shipments and reporting discrepancies as needed.

 

Preferred:

1. Knowledge of different types of Ores and mining industry. Must be well connected

2. knowledge in Selling of ferro alloys to steel mills and foundries can be added advantage

3. Computer skills for Trades Management

4. In-depth knowledge on LME Hedging Processes

5. English Language (Writing and Speaking) and Portuguese
