Key Responsibilities

• AI Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Champion AI initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture of innovation.
• AI Development
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, including machine learning models, predictive analytics, and natural language processing tools.
  • Apply AI methodologies to address business challenges such as energy usage forecasting, customer insights, and operational efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams, including Data Analytics, IT, and Business Units, to identify opportunities for AI integration.
  • Translate business needs into AI-driven solutions that drive results.
• Data & Infrastructure
  • Oversee the integration of AI tools with existing data infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Ensure data pipelines and models deliver actionable insights that align with business priorities.
• Project Management
  • Manage AI projects from concept to deployment, including data preparation, model development, testing, and implementation.
• Team Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of AI and data professionals.
  • Provide mentorship, encourage skill development, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Communicate complex AI concepts and results to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, identifying emerging trends and technologies that could benefit the business.
• Compliance & Ethics
  • Ensure AI solutions adhere to data privacy regulations, ethical AI practices, and industry standards.

Key Qualifications

• Education
  • Master’s or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Technical Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in AI development, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deploying AI solutions in production.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and data engineering practices.
• Industry Experience
  • Experience in the energy sector is a strong plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated success in applying AI to solve real-world business challenges.
• Leadership & Communication
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A track record of developing innovative AI solutions that create business value.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI applications in energy, such as consumption forecasting, smart grids, or customer behavior analytics.
• Certifications in AI, data science, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning).
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and data privacy compliance.
