Position: Human Resource Director
Serve as the link betweenCompany business strategy and our people practices;
Be a trusted professional partner and advisor to the CEO. Provide exceptional HR leadership, business partnering, coaching, employee support, and employee relations guidance;
Develop our HR strategies & policies, and our operational practices, applying an in-depth knowledge of Brazilian legal requirements;
Develop employee engagement in support best practices and Culture champion for our values, principles and behaviours;
Lead and contribute to projects and initiatives locally and globally, ensuring alignment with our wider global HR program, while being true to local practices and culture, and compliant with local legislation;
Work closely with the Global HRD, and all of the HR team, to deliver the People Plan and projects to enable strategy, both locally and globally.
Contribute to building a respected HR team, and the development all áreas of Human Resources Practices.
10+ Years Generalist HR & Business Partnering experience, preferably in innovative companies or Chemical insdutries.
Experienced in operating successfully in a matrix environment, managing, and balancing global and local requirements.
A solid understanding of Brazilian employment law. Experienced in employee relations matters, providing coaching and advisory to Senior Executives, and managers, across all aspects of the employee life cycle.
Has operated as a trusted partner, with effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work with a variety of senior stakeholders, and build trusted relationships quickly.
Intellectual curiosity, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
Must have a desire to learn all aspects of the business and its goals to be able to proactively partner with the CEO in creating and enabling the workforce strategy.
Problem solver, creative, and a solution creator. Comfortable working with business leaders and managers addressing any challenges or issues,& being an active part of the solution.
Able to use HR Systems/Tools to analyse and interpret data, and to provide insights to business leaders.
An end-to-end operator. Sees something through to the end, a “completer-finisher.” Results-driven and action-oriented. Takes personal responsibility to complete actions and resolve issues.
Fluent English is mandatory - written and oral communications.
Proficient in MS Office including excel and ppt;
Responsive to the needs of an international business working across different time zones, in multi-cultural environments, with virtual teams - adapting your working patterns in-line with business requirements.
